A Global Green Tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh and Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Under the auspices of the “Chaudhary Charan Singh Vichar Manch”

To honour the 125th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh ji on 23rd December 2027, we aim to plant 12.5 million native trees and develop 125 Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial Institutional Forests across the country.

This green journey will be further extended to 23rd March 2031—the centenary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom—by planting and nurturing an additional 10 million native trees and establishing 100 Sardar Bhagat Singh Memorial Institutional Forests, as a living tribute to his revolutionary spirit.

This global movement, under the umbrella of the Chaudhary Charan Singh Familial Forestry Mission, is represented by two campaigns:

•I’m Charan Singh

•I’m Bhagat Singh

Together, these campaigns will unite communities across the world in a transformative mission to restore nature, combat climate change, and honour the grassroots legacies of two extraordinary leaders who championed justice, equity, and the empowerment of the rural poor.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every native tree is embraced as a cherished member of our families and communities, fostering a deep, sustainable connection between humans and nature. This movement is not just about planting trees—it is about reviving ecosystems, restoring balance, and ensuring a resilient future for all.

Through this initiative, we strive to:

✅ Revolutionise Environmental Action by making trees an integral part of our lives.

Our Mission

In the first phase, our focus is on the “I’m Charan Singh” campaign, which aims to:

1.🌳 Offer the largest-ever green tribute to Chaudhary Charan Singh ji.

2.🌍 Highlight the climate crisis in rural communities and bring their voices to the global stage.

3.📚 Explain the disproportionate impacts of climate change and advocate for climate justice for the most vulnerable.

This is more than an environmental campaign—

It is a movement for climate justice, ecological restoration, and social empowerment.

About the Founder

Prof. Shyam Sunder Jyani

The visionary behind Familial Forestry, UN’s Land for Life Awardee, and an Associate Professor, Prof. Jyani has dedicated his life to ecological restoration through community-driven tree plantation initiatives. Since 2006, he has inspired millions to plant and nurture trees as green family members, transforming barren lands into thriving ecosystems.

Through Nature Revolution 2031, his mission continues—to unite the world in planting 1 billion trees by 2050 under Chaudhary Charan Singh Familial Forestry Mission Concept, ensuring a greener, healthier, and more just planet for future generations.
